"I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
If you really knew Me,
you would know My Father as well.
From now on, you know Him and have seen Him."
John  14: 6-7

Signs In The Times

“You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of Your servant, our father, David. ‘Why do the nations rage and the people plot in vain? The kings of the
earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord and His Anointed One.’
Acts 4:25-26

So much has happened in these past few weeks. We are edging closer to a global society. The global rulers gathered this week to talk about the economic
crisis throughout the world. Russia is happy with America’s choice for president as in the Muslims and Hindu’s in India are. Many of the Muslim nations have
expressed their congratulations to our president-elect. These are nations that persecute Christians and kill them. People here in the U.S. are coming out of the
woodwork with hateful things towards our president-elect.  We have homosexuals stomping on a cross, and demonstrating across the country. Our president-
elect is looking at people to run our government who do not profess the values of God. We must pray for this new president and for a change of his heart. We
must pray that the Holy Spirit convicts him of the lies that Satan has been telling him.

We asked for this. We have allowed ourselves to be so consumed with selfishness and envy, idol worship and money worship and forgotten God. We are
raging in vain. We have forgotten to put the Lord first in our lives above all things. These next years are not going to be pretty. It will take a change of heart of
this whole nation, a humbling of our lives, and a return to our God. Jesus said:
“Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From
now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.” (Luke 12:51-52)

We don’t have any fear anymore. We don’t believe that God exists or we think He is powerless and doesn’t care. Jesus said: “Fear him who, after the killing of
the body, has the power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.” (Luke 11:5)
But the devil makes things look cool and he lies to you into thinking that
God doesn’t care and that He will not punish people for their sins. We have much to fear if we don’t heed the warnings. We think we have plenty of time to
change, but we don’t. Jesus said:
“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have
prepared for yourself?’ This is how it will be with anyone who stores up things for himself but is not rich toward God.” (Luke 12:20)

Are you prepared to stand before God if He comes tonight?

While I was reading the Scriptures this week, something popped out at me. In Acts 2:16-21, Peter is addressing the crowd after receiving the Holy Spirit:
“No,
this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: (2:28-36)
‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men
will dream dreams. Even on My servants, both men and women, I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the heaven
above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the
great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.”
We have been in the last days since Christ returned. We forget that to God: For a thousand years in Your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a
watch in the night. (Psalm 90:4
) And in 2 Peter 3:8-9 we are told: But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: with the Lord a day is like a thousand years,
and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to
perish, but everyone to come to repentance
.

When are the people of the world going to come to repentance? The Gospel is preached to all nations, and yet there are those who rage against God. We
have even had some who have brought lawsuits against God. Do they not realize that it is God that they are raging against?

In 1 John 2:18-19 we are warned:
Dear children, this is the last hour, and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have
come. This is how we know it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they did not belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained
with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
Sadly, many of us have prodigals in our families. Do we do anything to show them the way of
the Lord, or are we to afraid to take a stand for the Lord? Have you ever said to a loved one, ‘I love you and don’t want you to die in your sin. I wish you would
not –use the Name of the Lord in vain—commit adultery—live a homosexual lifestyle—murder by aborting your child—have idols in your life—lie—take what
belongs to another—slander— be greedy’: the list goes on and on. We are afraid of being called judgmental and not loving. But it takes great love to confront
someone in their sin. We are always called to love one another, but we must not forget that Jesus came to teach us the way of life, to become like a child and
learn from Him what is righteous and holy. We must repent and teach others to.

Jesus warns us:
“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! (Mark13:32-33)
But we don’t heed the warnings and for some when Christ returns or they die unexpectedly, they will not go to heaven. Jesus warned us that: “
The angels will
come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 13:49-
50)
Are you willing to be thrown into the fiery furnace of hell, or are you willing to see those you love go to hell?

As Christians we must realize that we are disciples of Jesus and so we must preach the Good News in season and out of season. We must salt our lives with the
righteousness that comes from God. And we must live our lives in the Joy of knowing that our faith, our belief in God, having God’s peace, peace within one’s
self and having peace with those around us. Only then will we understand what Jesus is telling us. It’s a hard life to tell someone living in sin that they are. But
we must show them that only Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and He is the only way to the Father. Jesus made this claim for our salvation: No one, no
religion, no church, no other way but through Jesus. Period.

Our faith will be firm if it is in Jesus Christ. No trial, no storm, not evil the devil can destroy us if we stand firm in Christ.

In our nations so many Christians have rejected the stone that is the capstone for our faith. We have allowed the devil to influence us to believe that if we are
tolerant of other religions we are following Christ! That is a lie, my dear ones! We must follow Christ in order to get to heaven otherwise we will go to hell.

We have to look at the lost sheep and live a life that projects the Good News of Jesus. If we live in sin, then we live in Satan. But if we live a righteous and holy
life, we live in God.

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the Good News of God. “The time has come,” He said. “The kingdom of God is near: Repent
and believe the Good News.” (Mark 1:14-15)

Have you repented of your sins? Who are the ones around you that you need to preach the Good News to?

The sum of our possessions is not what life is. Where our treasure is, there also is our heart. If God is our treasure, then our heart will be in God and will
respond to the things that are of God. We must stand up for our God and show Him that His sacrifice on the cross was not in vain. We must stop listening to the
lies of Satan and begin again in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We can’t keep on the way we have been going and not expect that God will not fulfill His
Words in the Scriptures. The end began at the beginning and now it’s the beginning of the end. Christ ended our punishment and began a new way of living,
and now it’s time to be on guard and trust in the Lord for all things in our life. The end of this heaven and earth are coming. The question is: “Will you be
ready?”

Someone asked Him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”
He said to them, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.”
Luke 13:23-24

Are you making every effort?
